Have you ever been fake, for the sake of saving face?

I meant to type all this a while ago. But...lazy. And I have decided that for general randomness posts I'll use song lyrics as the subject line and for specific posts like my memorial to my left earbud or new music reviews {which you can expect regularly now!} I'll do non-lyrics subject lines.

I know, that information was soo important for you to know. (:

Oh oh oh I got an iPhone 3G on Saturday! *dances* Black 8 gig. And I love it. But it's almost full of music. My dad said I could exchange it for a 16 gig since I only have like 2gigs left of space. I'm in the process of updating the software to 2.0.1. :D

I went to the Breaking Dawn midnight release party at Barnes & Noble on Friday with Natasha, Marissa & Danica. It was really fun even though I failed at bingo and didn't know any of the trivia questions. probably because I read Twilight & New Moon last year and Eclipse in June. And was never a supercrazayfan. But Marissa won twice and got 2 Breaking Dawn shirts and gave one to me. And in line to get the book we met these 2 girls that'll be seniors next year and go to the high school I'll be going && doing SOCSA, majoring in the same things. {Theatre&vocal music} So huzzah, I'll know more than four people. And zomg school is starting so soon! D:
Oh, and I finished Breaking Dawn 2 days ago. It was good, and I was glad how it ended. It was so long, haha, but I like long books. Even though it only took me 2 days to read it. I didn't start reading it til the day after I got it because I needed to go to a bat mitzvah the next day and had to wake up early. And wanted to play with my iPhone. Haha.

I saw the Dark Knight like a week ago. It was really good. And Heath Ledger was amazing. I know everyone is saying that, but it's true! (: And even though it was 2 and a half hours it wasn't dragging on or anything. Huzzah.

I finished another book yesterday, Impulse by Ellen Hopkins. I now own every one of her books. I seriously recommend any of her books to anyone. Probably Crank and its sequel Glass the most. Burned was excellent too. Impulse was good too, but didn't have the poetic verse appeal of the other books. But it was good and you should read it too. I found this book and read some of it at the release party at B&N called serafina67 *urgently requires life* by Susie Day. It's written as a blog and sounds a lot like how I write, haha! So I wanna go get that. But right now I'm in the process of reading Black by Ted Dekker, as recommended by Cara. I've only finished the prologue so far but am gonna read more later most likely.

You guys should really follow me on twitter so you'll know what's going on when I'm too lazy to blog. Like I saw a flaming car on the freeway today. Trufax.

Next post will be a huuuuuge review of a crapload of albums I bought. And some individual singles and such. :D

PS. If you watched the Teen Choice Awards yesterday {I did. Just for David Cook & David Archuleta} that girl who won the contest to give awards to people, Hannah, that's a girl that goes to my school. I was like 'WTF I KNOW HER!' and also exclaimed 'DAVID COOK!' when they showed him in the audience. His banter with Archie while presenting the award was priceless, trufax. That boy needs to host SNL. Like, soon. And Archie just needs to be less awkward. But it does make for humor. Lawl. But what he REALLY needs to do is grow his hair over those ears. Really.

IO hay. I'm kinda lagging on this, cuz I've been over at Scribbld since LJ is blocked and everything. It's kinda lame but the whole LJ layout makes up for it. It's kinda confuzzling, though.

Oh, only 1 more day of middle school. :O Kinda depressing, considering basically everyone I know isn't going to the same high school as me. :( But I'm really excited to go do SOCSA. I went to the showcase, it was 4+ effin' hours. Super long, from 6.30 to like 10.45pm. But everyone pwned hardcore and it was amazing and they did 2 Spring Awakening songs. :D

So a whole lotta crap's been going on at school lately.

We're basically turning into semi-East LA school. I had a hugehuge thing typed up documenting everything I know that happened last week but I decided to not post it. I saved it was a draft though. But it's pretty much resolved, so that's very good. It was really not fun for a while.

But aughhhhhhhh school is done and we're so depressed. NO ONE wants me to go to Dana next year, I've gotten so many death threats and shocked faces and 'No you're not''s and that sort of things. D: It's seriously making me sad. I was practically crying in the car after the day ended, and some of my friends were legitly crying. One of these days it's gonna really hit me and 'm gonna sob. I mean, even this guy I've known since elementary and he's the kinda guy who always acts out with his friends said he didn't want me to leave. But he's nice. And he knew Idina Menzel was in Wicked for some reason. BUT IT'S ALL JUST SO EFFING DEPRESSING. DDDD: Fo srs. I mean, I'm excited to go to SOCSA and all, but blaaaaaa.

So..um..oh oh new music! Shnazzyness and very eclectic-ness abounds. Rilo Kiley, Eisley, All Time Low, The HorrorPops, The Sex Pistols, Panic at the Disco, In The Hiehgts OBCR, Katy Perry, Seven Foot Wave, Forever The Sickest Kids, We The Kings, Liz Phair, Hole, and that's it. Pretty. Odd. {which PWNS.}

CONGRATS TO IN THE HEIGHTS! Such an incredible show I wanna see it so much. The music truly is amazing. They so deserved Best Musical. And I was so glad Lin won Best Score! :D he's so talented, and so young. Their Tony performance pwned muchly too. :D

OH OH OH MY PADRE'S GIRLFRIEND CAROL WHO IS A FLIGHT ATTENDANT WENT TO NYC FOR LIKE THE 6TH TIME AND SAW SPRING AWAKENING. {also got jesse!Hanschen} And I was mega jealous. But she brought me back the Playbill, the program, the bag, a magnet and a T-shirt. So yayyy. but still....JEALOUSLY. She said it was really amazing. And she also brought me back the Playbill, the bag, the program, a T-shirt and a magnet. Very shnazzy indeed.

Speaking of that, I haven't blogged for long times. Oh noes.

It's verrry verry amazing, I must say.
I got into a *situation* last week. It was a very icky and awkward situation, really. But it's ver and done with, except for Tanner being a huge mean person this morning. But it doesn't even involve him, as much as he'd like to think it would. >.< It was really not a fun thing for me. I felt like how it ended was me being mean. And I don't like being mean. But I had to tell him I didn't want to go out with him because it was the truth. I mean, I've known him since elementary school, it's way awkward and weird. But I'm over it, he's over it, we're all over it. [except for Tanner who thinks I'm retarded for ignoring him. I'm sorry I did ignore him, but I'm terrible in these kinda of situations and gahh.]
ANYWAY
I'm getting a SA VIDEO today. WITH PHOEBE!ILSE AND KRYSTA!ANNA. THIS IS GOING TO BE COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY INCREDIBLE, YO. I'm so excited xD

Speaking of that, I'm so glad Jason Castro's gone off American Idol. It was his time, definitely. I predict next week Syesha will leave, then it will be face-off between Davids. :O I really honestly have noo idea who will win, David Archuleta has a tonnnn of fangirls and he's cute at times and he can sing and he's generally adorable and awkward. [: But David Cook is just completely phenomenal and can sing ANYTHING, really. He can do Mariah and Phantom and Dolly and rock. All being full of pwn. That is hardcore. And it doesn't hurt he's gotten to be pretty cute and his hair=yesss. I HAVE A THING FOR HAIR I'M SORRY. But I'd be fine with either of them winning, because they both are good[though Cookieee is betterrr] seriously, his Phantom song, The Music of the Night[which is on my iPod] had me fangirling SO HARD over him. Liek whoa. and no matter what both of them will make it big in the industry. Yay.

ZOMG I'M SEEING RENT TOUR IN 6 DAYS AND I WILL FANGIRL AND STAGEDOOR AND GET MY PLAYBILL SIGNED AND TAKE PICTURES WITH THE CAST AND PUT THEM IN MY BINDER, AND I WILL LIKE IT.
It's als the same day as my SOCSA audition. I hope that dude from [title of show] emails me back TODAY so I can arrange for paying for A Way Back To Then sheet music so I can audition with it, I really want to sing that. If not, then I'll just sing So Much Better [Legally Blonde, if you didn't know already.] Because me madre had a problem with me auditioning with The Dark I Know Well from SA. Blaaa. It's 'innapropriate'. D: And I have to choose my monologues, and I'm extremely glad Hannah helped me with them at lunch today. Yay her. :D
SO I'M REALLY HUNGRY RIGHT NOW. I neeeeeed to blog more often, my blogs are always sooo long. Gah.
